Our Last Year ran previously in September 2019 and was met with overwhelmingly positive player feedback (despite being partially disrupted by the heaviest rainfall in the recorded history of Southern Spain...). Here are some photos and testimonials from that run. Photos by Stefano Kewan Lee, Andrea "Moonesia" Vaghi, Steve Ellis and Karolina Soltys.

Our Last Year was a magnificent, wonderful larp with a beautiful, equally joyful and melancholic atmosphere. Definitely one of the best larps I've played in a long time, and I can highly recommend it to everyone who is interested in deeply emotional, interpersonal drama. I would definitely play it again if I had the chance! -- Alexandra "Lu" Beck |
This game was perfect to me: deep interlocked characters, raw emotions and no plot that needs to be solved. It also had just the right amount of magic realism. There were many things that felt slightly otherworldly but that never distracted from the humanness of the stories. For this is a game about being human: lost, struggling and avoidant, but also powerful, forgiving and celebratory. I am still thinking about it. -- Karijn van der Heij |
Our Last Year is a pool of desires, collections, fragmented memories and hopes uncertain. As a larp, it engages the participant with suggestions and openings, never hooking by the nose. It generates cherished memories and nuanced interactions that keep haunting even after it is over. |
